Event RecapKutiit Culture 2026
Building the Production Behind Kutiit Culture
On 8 August 2026, Kutiit Culture took over Carnivore Grounds, Nairobi, bringing together culture, entertainment, music, and a large live audience.
Obbys Ventures was appointed as the event production partner, responsible for transforming the open grounds into a fully functional and immersive event environment.
Our scope covered the key production elements required to bring the experience to life, from a 12m × 25m × 1m main stage and large-scale temporary structures to LED screens, professional lighting, and sound production.
The project required more than simply supplying equipment. It demanded careful planning, coordination, installation, and technical execution to ensure that every production element worked together seamlessly.
From the first structure going up to the final technical checks, our team worked to create an environment that could support the performances, accommodate the various event zones, and deliver the visual and audio experience expected of a major live event.
The result was a successfully executed production that brought together staging, structures, audiovisual technology, lighting, and sound into one cohesive event experience.

Event Day - 8 August 2026
Kutiit Culture goes live at Carnivore Grounds, with the complete production environment ready for the audience and performers.
Successful Execution
The event was successfully delivered with the production infrastructure operating as planned throughout the experience.
The Challenge
Kutiit Culture required a production setup capable of supporting a large-scale outdoor event at Carnivore Grounds, while accommodating multiple functions across the venue.
The challenge was not limited to building a stage. The event required several temporary structures, large-format visual displays, professional lighting, and a sound system; all operating within the same production environment.
The key challenge was ensuring that these different elements were properly coordinated, positioned, installed, and ready within the event setup period without compromising the final experience.
Our Solution
Obbys Ventures approached the project as a complete production ecosystem.
We coordinated the installation of:
- 12m × 25m × 1m main stage
- 30m × 50m curved tent
- Bline tents
- Vendor tents
- Stretch tent
- LED screens
- Professional stage and event lighting
- Full sound production
- Portable VIP & Standard Toilets
Our team coordinated the various production disciplines to ensure that the physical structures, technical systems, and audience-facing elements worked together as one cohesive setup.
The focus was simple: build it right, integrate it properly, and have everything ready when the event opened.
